The Hoover Uprights

The Hoover Uprights have been playing Old Time string band mused together for about 13yrs. Playing for local dances at Glen Echo and Baltimore. The band took 1st place in the Traditional Band contest in both 2001 and 2003 at the Appalachian String Band Music Festival in Clifftop, West Virginia. . Bill Schmidt started playing uke and guitar during the ³Folk Scare² of the 1960¹s and became a New Lost City Ramblers fan while still in high school.
