King William Brass Quintet

Named after the historic King William neighborhood in San Antonio, TX, known for its rich historical and cultural diversity, King William Brass is one of the city’s newest performing ensembles. While the group made its official debut in August of last year, it’s core members (Joy and Chris Branagan, and Stuart Smith) have been performing together in orchestral and chamber settings since 1998. King William Brass draws from the wealth of talented brass musicians in the Washington area. In addition to providing an artistic and entertaining experience to its listeners, King William Brass is committed to bringing the highest level of musical instruction and performance to schools and colleges throughout the National Capital Region. Joy Branagan, a native of Marietta, GA, is currently on sabbatical from the San Antonio Symphony, where she holds the position of second horn.
