Jeunes Agape

The Jeunes Agape youth choir is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary this year. Since its inception on 1994, it has changed the way people view performances, giving its audience an auditory and a visual treat each and every time. It has also influenced the way other choirs present themselves and their work on stage. Jeunes Agape’s repertoire is wide and includes: Calypso, West Indian and African folk, Gospel, Contemporary and World Music and Semi-Classical music. The choir has participated in 5 National Music Festivals receiving many recognition awards including Best Gospel Choir from The Evening News, Best Adult Folk Choir from Sir Edward Beetham Shield, Best Calypso Chorale, Most Outstanding Folk Choir and placed 3rd place in the Prime Minister’s Best Village competition in 2003 in its first year entering as a group.
