Helanius J. Wilkins

Helanius J. Wilkins, founder and artistic director of the acclaimed dance company Edgeworks, is a native of Lafayette Louisiana.  An award-winning choreographer, performance artist, and instructor based in Washington DC, he was a 2002 Recipient of the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Local Dance Commissioning Project; and also the Recipient of the 2001 Metro DC Dance "Emerging Choreographer" award.  Helanius J.
