Tord Gustavsen Trio

Tord Gustavsen (piano) has been an important part of the Norwegian jazz scene for several years. His playing has formed a cornerstone in projects featuring some of the finest Norwegian singers, including Silje Nergaard, Siri Gjære, Kristin Asbjørnsen and Live Maria Roggen. Mr. Gustavsen tours Norway and Europe extensively as a soloist and as an ensemble player whose abilities to fuse individual expression with acutely attentive and creative interplay are in great demand. His intriguing musical skills include melding historical jazz forms with reflective Nordic moods and lyrical beauty.
