Hallgrim Bratberg

Hallgrim Bratberg, born in 1969, received his bachelors degree in music performance from the Norwegian State Academy of Music in 1992. The following years he worked as a freelance artist, joining the bands of Norwegian pop artists such as Sigvart Dagsland and Morten Harket. In 1998 he moved to New York, and in 2001 he received a Masters degree in music composition from New York University. Since moving back to Oslo in 2001, he has been touring and recording with folk, pop, and jazz artists such as Kari Bremnes, Anne Grete Preus, and Silje.
