Shelley Olson

Shelley Olson, began her musical studies at the age of six with the study of violin. In her teens, she began singing and her vocal career included an appointment as vocal soloist with the University of Massachusetts Chorale during their European concert tour. She has sung operatic roles in new York City and Mexico city and was one of six singers chosen to record de Falla’s El sombrero de tres pico with the London Symphony Orchestra for RCA Victor records. In addition to her musical pursuits, Shelley holds a doctorate in the field of education from the University of Houston and was appointed Fellow and Senior Fellow at the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching. She has traveled in over thirty countries, including three visits to Israel.
