David Lawrie

David Lawrie is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where he was a student of John Weaver. He holds a Master's degree and Performer's Certificate in Organ from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, having studied there with David Higgs. He has also studied Improvisation with Richard Erickson and Gerre Hancock. Mr Lawrie is the Organist and Master of Choristers at Saint David’s Church (Roland Park) in Baltimore, where he conducts the Professional Choir and Schola of the parish, trains the Choristers of the Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs, and oversees a full liturgical music program in the Anglican tradition.
