Warsaw Village Band

Six young people founded Warsaw Village Band in 1997 as a response against the narrow-mindedness surrounding us, which the band believes leads to the destruction of human dignity. The band is a radical turn to sources in search of musical inspirations and immemorial virtues. It is also an exploration of folklore and archaic sounds of their ancestors and instincts. Moreover it's inexhaustible source of fun, joy and spontaneity. The band’s repertoire consists of folk dance melodies, ballads and rural songs performed in a traditional style of singing.
