Cleveland Institute of Music

The Cleveland Institute of Music, one of the world’s leading international conservatories, is situated within beautiful University Circle, the educational, cultural and medical hub of Cleveland. The Institute possesses a distinguished faculty and a talented student body, while retaining a personal, supportive environment. For more than 85 years, we have offered a world-class education to students of all ages, and have been an important concert venue for the local and regional community. The student body of the Institute’s Conservatory division is broadly representative in its composition: of our 450 students, 60% represent 49 states, 25% represent 23 countries, and 15% are from Ohio. 80% of the Institute’s alumni perform in major national and international orchestras and opera companies, and hold prominent teaching positions around the world.
