Claire Lise

One night in 1998, Claire Lise wrote a song in her Parisian apartment. Paper in hand, her thoughts wild and her feet with a mind of their own; she wandered in a city that was unknown to her. On a roadside she met a pianist, Julien Marie, with whom she built a repertoire of some fifteen songs. In March 2000, she performed her first concert in Lyon, and an enthusiastic public demanded a CD release from her. With Sebastien Sechaud, she created the “Clef de Rond” association and produced a 10-song album, “C’est pas Grave,” with Adam Borek on the accordion, Loraine Ritmanic on chorus, Antoine Pozzo Di Borgo on the bass and Julien Marie.
