Students from Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell

Twenty-seven students from across the United States and China were chosen to participate in the thirteenth annual session of the Kennedy Center’s exclusive ballet training program “Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell.” The three-week residency for dancers, age 14 to 18 with at least five years of ballet training, has been held at the Kennedy Center from July 24-August 14. During the three-week period, the students study with Ms. Farrell, a legendary principal dancer of the New York City Ballet. Students also participate in a number of cultural activities to enhance their experience in Washington, D.
