Traveling Players Ensemble

Traveling Players Ensemble was hailed a “little-known summer gem…for the budding actor” by The Washington Post.  Our unique programs combining theater and backpacking training have been covered by public radio station WAMU 88.5 FM’s program “Metro Connection.”  This summer, TPE’s Middle School Ensembles performed The Miser and The Imaginary Invalid, two classic works by Molière, and toured to summer camps, libraries and schools in the Washington, DC area.  In September, TPE’s High School Ensemble toured their production of Much Ado About Nothing to Skyland Drive, backpacking off the Appalachian Trail, and performing at Skyland Amphitheatre   Traveling Players Ensemble Camp, based in the Washington, DC metro area, is a unique program that provides intensive theatre training to small troupes of 12 actors.
