Lady P-Coq

Lisa Pegram, the DC WritersCorps Coordinator, was a 1999 recipient of the Mayor’s Arts Award for Emerging Artists.  She served as a WritersCorps instructor since 1998 before becoming the Program Assistant.  She has instituted and facilitated innovative and successful arts and humanities programming for Leadership Washington, the Village Foundation, National Geographic, and the Fannie Mae Foundation.   Pegram is also the recipient of 1999 and 2000 City Arts Project Grants from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and is also a 1999 Lannan Fellow.    Pegram has conducted customized workshops and teacher training for WritersCorps, National Cathedral School, FLOC, Studio Theater, Asian American Lead, and the Association of Independent Maryland Schools.
