Del Castillo

Del Castillo began as a Latin flamenco style project between two brothers, Rick and Mark del Castillo in 2000.  Up until that time both had been playing guitar and recording on separate projects but had never worked together.  After an initial period of writing instrumentals, their good friend Alex “El Lobo” Ruiz added lyrics and the three of them collaborated on their songs.  Another friend, Mike Zeoli, added drum tracks.  Since 2000 their signature non-traditional sound has been igniting clubs, radio stations, festivals and stages all over Texas, and they were featured on the soundtrack of the Robert Rodriquez film, “Once Upon A Time In Mexico.
