4/2/07: Howard University Jazz Ensemble with Shunzo Ohno
Founded in 1975 by director Fred Irby III, the Howard University Jazz Ensemble is recognized as one of the foremost college jazz ensembles and has performed at the 1992, 1996, and 2005 Kennedy Center Honors Gala. The ensemble is joined by Japanese jazz trumpeter Shunzo Ohno. In cooperation with the Japan Information and Culture Center, Embassy of Japan, and Amway Japan.
