Todd Burge

Todd Burge’s guitar and singer/songwriter style has been compared to the likes of Bob Dylan, Randy Newman, and Loudon Wainwright III. He has performed with Ricky Skaggs, Bèla Fleck, Rusted Root, Mike Seeger and many more. He has been featured many times on Public Radio International’s Mountain Stage and was recently named West Virginia’s best songwriter by PBS’s host Larry Groce. Todd's latest CD was produced by 2006 Grammy Winner Tim O’Brien and recorded at John Prine’s studio, The Butcher Shoppe in Nashville TN, with David Ferguson (Johnny Cash, John Hartford) as engineer.  The band includes Dirk Powell (Loretta Lynn, Sting)-Cajun Accordion & Keyboards, Dennis Crouch (Alison Krauss, Robert Plant)-Bass, Kenny Malone (John Prine, Darrell Scott)-Drums, Dan Dugmore (James Taylor)-Pedal Steel, and Tim O’Brien-Fiddle, Mandolin, Bouzouki and backing vocals.
