As part of the Shakespeare Project, students from Weber State University perform Macbeth, Shakespeare’s classic tale of ambition, power, and greed. Directed by Tracy Callahan.
An initiative of the Center’s Education Department and under the Artistic Direction of Gregg Henry, The Shakespeare Project utilizes three established Kennedy Center Education programs—the American College Theater Festival, PAFE/Millennium Stage, and ArtsEdge—to bring new productions of classic Shakespeare works to the stage and web for teaching tools in the classroom. Shakespeare in Washington at the Kennedy Center is sponsored by Alice and David Rubenstein.
