Canadian soprano Measha Brueggergosman has emerged as one of the most magnificent artists and vibrant personalities of the day. Performances of the 2006-07 see her with Robert Spano and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Peter Oundjian and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Franz Welser-M?st and the Cleveland Orchestra, and with Gustavo Dudamel both at the Israel Philharmonic as well as on a European tour with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. She also joins Michael Tilson Thomas, Maxim Vengerov, and the New World Symphony for a gala concert innaugurating Miami's Carnival Center for the Performing Arts.

Deeply committed to the art of recital where her programs are likely to include less frequently-heard songs by Bolcom, Satie, and Turina alongside more familiar works by Mahler, Ravel, and Strauss, Ms. Brueggergosman's busy schedule includes solo recitals at London's Wigmore Hall, the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, the University Musical Society's Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, Hertz Hall in Berkeley, as well as in Gstaad, Aberdeen, and Kitchener among many others.
Highlights of recent seasons include Dialogues des Carmélites at the Vancouver Opera, Aeneas in Kartago at the Staatstheater Stuttgart, and Turandot with Cincinnati Opera as well as concert performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Leonard Slatkin, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, the National Arts Centre Orchestra with Patrick Summers, the Boston Symphony Orchestra with Hans Graf, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra under Jiri Behlolavek. Recital highlights include a sold-out performance at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, and solo concerts at the Kennedy Center, Vancouver's Chan Centre, Spivey Hall in Atlanta, as well as at the Edinburgh, Bergen, Verbier, and Tuscan Sun festivals.
So Much to Tell, Ms. Brueggergosman's first solo commercial recording on the CBC Records label, features music by Barber, Copland and Gershwin: her second release, Extase, available in Autumn 2006, presents a program of Berlioz's Les nuits d'été and Massenet opera arias with Yoav Talmi and the Orchestre Symphonique de Québec.
