Patricia García Torres

Patricia García Torres was born in Tecate in the state of Baja California, Mexico. She has received the highest acclaim for her classical music interpretations, as well as for the execution of pieces by contemporary composers. In December 2006 she was invited by Steinway and Sons to join the distinguished international roster of Steinway Artists. She has performed in the most important concert halls in Mexico, the United States and South America and in international cultural festivals such as the White and Black Piano International Festival, the Alamos Festival, the International Festival of Chamber Music of San Miguel de Allende, Cultural May Festival, Peace Festival of San Salvador, Treff Punkt Festival of Stuttgart, and the “Mexican Musicians in Vienna” Festival in Austria. Torres has also taught in the Music School of the University of Costa Rica, National Conservatory of Guatemala and the Regional Music Conservatory in Trujillo, Peru.
