Season of Ascension

Jennifer Jackson, piano, received a BA in piano performance from California State University, Fresno and a Masters of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. While at Peabody, she studied with Benjamin Pasternack, Seth Knopp, and Maria Lambros. She was the recipient of the Peabody Pauline Favin and Rose Marie Milholland Memorial Awards, as well as the Austin Conradi Memorial Scholarship. Ms. Jackson moved to Indiana in 2004, where she worked as the Bible Study Coordinator for the Christian Performing Artists Fellowship, the Director of Piano for Grace College School of Music, and the orchestral pianist for the Symphony of the Lakes.

In 2007, Jennifer came to the DC area to freelance as a classical pianist. Ms. Jackson is employed as a professor of piano at Patrick Henry College, and a choral accompanist at Georgetown University and the Peabody Children’s Chorus.

Rebecca Kletzker , viola, is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She started her musical career with the violin and piano at age nine. At fourteen, she began playing the viola under the tutelage of Thomas Dumm, former principal of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and Robin Williams, professor at Lindenwood University. Ms. Kletzker received her Bachelor degrees in both viola performance and music education at the University of Memphis, suma cum laude, studying under Lenny Schranze and the Ceruti String Quartet. She recently completed her Masters of Music in viola performance at the University of Maryland, studying with Mahoko Eguchi of the National Symphony Orchestra, and Michael Tree of the Guarneri String Quartet. Rebecca has been actively involved with the MasterWorks Performing Arts Festivals in the United States and in Europe, as well as the Christian Performing Arts Fellowship. She has recorded with Jerry Finney, a local Memphis artist and with Ardent Studios for Todd Agnew's albums, Grace Like Rain and Reflections of Something. Currently, she teaches in the greater D.C. area and performs with various chamber ensembles. Rebecca is the resident violist and personnel manager of the Great Noise Ensemble, and will be performing with them at the National Gallery in May. Ms. Klezker lives in Silver Spring, MD with her dog Lucy and manages at Adega Wine Cellars and Café.

Geoffrey Flolo, clarinet, is currently an active free-lance musician and a consultant in natural wellness. As a Yamaha Artist, he performs exclusively on the Yamaha CSGH clarinets. Geoffrey has been a member of numerous chamber, theater, and symphony orchestras including the Spokane and the North Carolina Symphonies. He is a twenty year retiree of the United States Navy Band in Washington, D.C., where he served as section clarinetist, soloist, and principal as needed. Mr. Flolo studied clarinet principally with Leon Russianoff of the Juilliard School. Other teachers of great influence were Ignatius Gennusa of The Peabody Conservatory, and formerly principal clarinetist of the Chicago, National, and Baltimore Symphonies - Naomi Drucker of Hofstra University and The New York Philharmonic - Alan Balter, formerly principal clarinetist of the Atlanta Symphony, and conductor of the Baltimore, Akron, and Memphis Symphonies. Geoffrey is a Covenant Member of Strong Tower Ministries in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
