Pianist Yuja Wang is widely recognized as one of the most important artists of her generation. She has performed with orchestras of Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington in the US, and abroad with the Berlin Staatskapelle, Filarmonica della Scala, Israel Philharmonic, Orchestre de Paris, Orquesta Nacional España, the NHK Symphony in Tokyo, and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, among others. Conductors with whom she has collaborated include Claudio Abbado, Barenboim, Dudamel, Dutoit, Gatti, Gergiev, Maazel, Mehta, Masur, Pappano, Temirkanov, and Tilson Thomas. Wang equally enjoys performing recitals and chamber music throughout the world.
In the 13-14 season, the London Symphony Orchestra features Wang in the LSO Artist Portrait series followed by a tour of Asia with Daniel Harding conducting.
