Their lyrics are in French, Spanish, and English, and revolve around themes discussing the threads of life: stories, memories, children, lovers, disappointments, and pleasures. L&O’s exciting fusion is created by musicians with backgrounds in different genres. Vocalist Laure Slabiak has a background in opera and is currently studying classical music at the Conservatory at Sorbonne University in Paris. She is also fond of swing, 1930s music, and Gypsy music.
