Hallelujazz Project

January 2009 Strathmore Artists-in-Residence hallelujazz project, led by drummer and composer Tosin Aribisala, was formed in 2002.  With band members from different parts of Africa and the United States, the band is made up of talented and professional musicians with great passion for music.  Aribisala is trying to bring forth a cross-cultural musical spectrum with his band by merging his traditional African musical concept with jazz, neo-soul, and world beat in order to thrill and inspire the 21st century music lovers.  Currently, the band performs at various venues around Maryland, Washington, D.C.
