Rez Bluez All-Starz

The heartbeat of the blues is the same beat as the drum, which comes from Mother Earth.  Rez Bluez TV is the first show of its kind in the world that showcases solely Native American/First Nations blues musicians and comedians.   The Rez Bluez All-Starz are Murray Porter on keyboards and vocals, Shakti Hayes on bass and vocals, Beaver Thomas on guitar and vocals, and Oren Doxtator on drums, who were some of the featured musicians on Rez Bluez TV.  This show was broadcast over two seasons on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network & BRAVO in Canada.  Rez Bluez TV won "Best TV Program Promoting Aboriginal Music" at the 2008 Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards.
