Allan Harris

Vocalist Allan Harris, a native of Brooklyn, New York, has performed all over the world, from clubs in Europe and Asia to music festivals in Sweden, Turkey, Japan, Czechoslovtakia, Germany, Holland, and Italy. His South Florida band included Latin luminaries such as flutist Nestor Torres, percussionist Luis Enrique, saxophonist Ed Calle, bassist/arranger/composer George Cassas, and Latin star Jon Secada. Tony Bennett sponsored him in a showcase at Tatou in New York, where the songwriter Sammy Cahn introduced Mr. Harris to the crowd.  His first CD, Setting the Standard (Love Productions), was recorded in Miami.
