Eric deWaardt

Eric deWaardt, born in Delft, Holland, began studying violin at the age of 10. At 15, he switched to the viola and began lessons with Ramon Scavelli of the National Symphony Orchestra. He went on to study at The Juilliard School of Music with William Lincer. Mr. deWaardt also attended the Eastman School, working with Atar Arad of the Cleveland Quartet; in addition, he served as Professor Arad's teaching assistant and studied chamber music with the Cleveland Quartet.
