Carmen Lundy

Carmen Lundy

Carmen Lundy is a uniquely talented and progressive singer who is also a composer (writing a good portion of her repertoire), producer, actress, and painter. She was born November 1, 1954, in Miami, Florida, and at the age of six began to study the piano. Deeply inspired by her mother, who was the lead singer in a gospel group known as The Apostolic Singers, Ms. Lundy decided to become a singer by the time she was 12 years old. In her teens, she made her first 45 rpm record as half of a duo called Steph and Tret, a tune named The Price of Silence.
