Audre Budrys (The Kennedy Center)

Audre Budrys

Audre Budrys is a Lithuanian-American actress and teaching artist who lives in Chicago with her husband Kestutis and four year-old son Kajus.  She has worked with the Drama Theatres of Siauliai and Kaunas in Lithuania.  In Chicago, Audre has most recently performed with the TUTA Ensemble (Maria’s Field) and Piven Theatre Workshop (Disappearing Acts).  Audre is a recipient of the Worldwide Lithuanian Community Culture Commission Award for Theatre.  In 2008, Audre performed her one-woman show UNE BAYE in Washington DC as part of the European Union’s Cultural Arts Program, Europe Week.
