John Pierremont

Born in Port-au-Prince on March 29, 1959, Pastor Pierremont went to a well-known public school named Lycée Petion where he graduated high school in 1980. He entered the faculty of Ethnology the same year and after completing his study in 1984 he went to Panama. In 1987, he went to Saint Augustine, Florida to be trained in Pre historical and historical Archeology. He spent five years of research in different archeological sites in Haiti for the account of the “Bureau of Ethnology” and for the “Musée du Pantheon National.” Not only did he teach Spanish and social studies on a high school level, but Pastor Pierremont also worked successively from 1989 to 2003 for the cultural section of the Haitian board of education, the ministry of foreign affairs in Haiti and for the cultural and consulate sections of the Embassy of Haiti in Washington, DC.
