Ted Garber

Returning to Millennium Stage is self-styled “Blues Americana Rocker,” Ted Garber.  Ted began emerging on Washington, DC's original music scene in 2005 with the local release of twin debut albums, “Ted Garber EP,” a solo project, and “Achilles' Heel,” a full-length album that featured his first backing band, “The Working Class Heroes.” The son of a prominent local singer-songwriter, the late Holly Garber, Ted had little interest in pursuing a musical career until attending Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The vibrant city coupled with a lifetime of traveling abroad (Garber has already traversed over thirty countries on four continents) inspired his earliest songs.  However, it wasn't until after more than ten years of performing solely in bars and pubs that Garber found a calling for original music.
