Fishamble is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed company dedicated to the discovery, development, and production of new work for the Irish stage. Over the past 22 years, the company has produced numerous award-winning and highly acclaimed plays by first-time and established playwrights. Fishamble has brought this work to audiences throughout Ireland as well as in England, Scotland, the United States, Canada, Bulgaria, Romania, France, Germany, Iceland, and the Czech Republic. Earlier in 2010, Fishamble brought its production of Forgotten by Pat Kinevane to the Irish Arts Center in New York, BCA in Boston, and Source Theater in Washington, D.C. During 2008 and 2009, the company toured its multiple-award-winning The Pride of Parnell Street by Sebastian Barry internationally, including at New York's 59E59 Theaters as part of the First Irish Festival and to the Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven. Fishamble is delighted to be presenting Turning Point in collaboration with Arts & Disability Ireland as part of the 2010 International VSA Festival.

Arts & Disability Ireland (ADI) strives to promote the engagement of people with disabilities in the arts at the highest level, as audience members, artists, performers, participants, advisors, and employees. Positioning itself to have significant impact on the arts and disability sector in Ireland, ADI's goals are to provide artistic programming that includes performances, exhibition, published writing, and artistic skills workshops, in addition to encouraging disability interests in arts organizations and arts interests in disability organizations. ADI currently offers the Counterbalance integrated dance project and the Quick Bright Things Theatre Company for people with learning disabilities. Services provided include audio description for theater and Arts Focused Disability Equality Training. ADI became a VSA affiliate in 1989.
