Brandie Sutton

Brandie Sutton, soprano, known for her warm but edgy light lyrical voice, first embraced classical music during her undergraduate studies at Oakwood University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a concentration in voice, under the instruction of Julie Moore and Angelique Clay. During her studies at Oakwood she was a soloist for, and traveled with, the Oakwood University Aeolians under the direction of Julie Moore and Dr. Lloyd Mallory, Jr. She has traveled and sung in most of the United States, Bermuda, Poland--where she was able to perform in the annual Wratislavia Cantans International Music Festival in Wroclaw, and was also part of Centro Studi Lirica in Novafeltria, Italy performing in concerts around the area.
