Daksha Sheth

A renowned dancer, with a career spanning almost five decades, Daksha Sheth draws on her knowledge of a variety of dance styles in her choreography. She was also the first Indian woman soloist in chhau, an ancient dance from east India, influenced by martial arts. Known for constantly evolving the dance vocabulary, Daksha Sheth was the first choreographer to introduce aerial technique in the Indian dance, and seamlessly blends a multitude of techniques into her productions.
