International Young Artist Piano Competition

The International Young Artist Piano Competition was originally founded in 1986 by Li-Ly Chang for young artists of all nationalities between ages of five and 18. In the year 2000 and IYAPC 15th anniversary, a young professional group was added for pianists ages 19 to 28. The purpose is to promote the music of Chinese composers and further cultural exchange between peoples of the East and West. This is the only competition of its kind for this age group.
