Lauren Gunderson
Lauren Gunderson is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Her plays include Emilie: La Marquise Du Châtelet Defends Her Life Tonight, Exit Pursued By A Bear, Leap, Fire Work, and Silent Sky, which have been produced and developed across the country with South Coast Rep, The O'Neill Playwrights Conference, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Synchronicity Theatre, Crowded Fire, Marin Theatre, ArtsWest, JAW at Portland Center Stage, and more. She is currently developing a pilot for MTV about science fairs. An alumnus of Emory University and NYU's Dramatic Writing Department, she is also a Reynolds Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship, a resident playwright at The Playwrights Foundation, and teaches playwriting and science in theater across the country. She is a proud member of The Dramatists Guild.
