Jegyung Yang

South Korean soprano Jegyung Yang received additional training with Washington National Opera’s (WNO) Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program (2010-2012). She has appeared with WNO as Despina in Emerging Artist Performances of Così fan tutte and as Shepherd Boy in Tosca. She also made her debut as Marzelline in concert performances of Fidelio with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Christoph Eschenbach. Last season she appeared with WNO as the Slave in Salome and as the First Priestess in Iphigénie en Tauride, sang the First Lady in The Magic Flute with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and gave a concert recital with the Dolce Suono Trio.
