Karin Paludan

Soprano, Karin Paludan, performs regularly in the Washington, DC area and throughout the country in recitals, opera and operetta. A Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Award winner, she has sung with the New York City Opera National Company, the Utah Festival Opera, the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Annapolis Opera and at the Kennedy Center, among others, and has toured with Community Concerts. Ms. Paludan recently performed “George, Ira and Friends” at both the Harman Shakespeare Theater and the National Gallery of Art and continues to tour the show throughout the country. A singer with an "outstanding voice", according to The Washington Post, she works extensively with the Washington Performing Arts Society as an educational outreach artist passing on her love of opera and musical theater to audiences of all ages.
