Rafael Davila

Upcoming engagements for tenor Rafael Davila include his role debut as Otello with the Sarasota Opera in the 2011-2012 season.  Also in that same season, he will make his debut in Bilbao ABAO as Ismaele in Nabucco, and a return to Palm Beach Opera and Sarasota for Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. Next season he will also perform Trovatore with New Jersey Opera and Ballo in Maschera with Madison Opera.  In the 2010-2011 season he returned to the Lyric Opera of Kansas City for Pollione, made his Amsterdam debut as Rodolfo in La bohème with the Reisoper, and returned to Sarasota Opera for the role of Oronte in Verdi's I Lombardi.   The 2009-2010 season began with his debut with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City as Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca followed by his Palm Beach Opera debut as Don Jose in Carmen, and Carlo VII in Giovanna d'Arco for Sarasota.
