Ten-Chi-Jin

Ten-Chi-Jin comes from the Tohoku area of Japan, one of the hardest-hit areas in the 2011 earthquake. The artists wanted to perform at the Kennedy Center in order to show our gratitude to the American people who have provided the Japanese with incredibly warm support in their recovery.  Since the disaster last year, Ten-Chi-Jin has performed about 120 concerts at home and abroad, including Germany and Taiwan, to show their gratitude for support shown, and to continue to show the situation in the devastated areas. On 11th of March this year, Ten-Chi-Jin gave a commemorative recital at the Tohoku waterfront.Ten-Chi-Jin will play a piece called "Human Being" as a sincere remembrance for the people who passed away.
