Amy Saunder (Corps de ballet) was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and moved to the United States when she was eleven years old. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts high school program under the tutelage of Ethan Stiefel and has attended various summer programs on scholarship including Pacific Northwest Ballet, Chautauqua Institute, and Harid Conservatory. She was a trainee with Richmond Ballet for two years and has been an apprentice with Terpsicorps Dance Theater for the past two summers. Amy joined The Suzanne Farrell Ballet in 2012.
What is your favorite role to dance and why?My favorite ballets to perform are Petipa's Swan Lake and Balanchine's Rubies.
