Masters of Haiti’s acoustic twoubadou (troubadour) tradition, Ti-Coca and his band serve up a program that blends Mereng (Haiti’s cousin to the Dominican merengue), contra-dance, and Cuban influences. Part of Center Stage, a pilot program created by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, in partnership with New England Foundation for the Arts.
