Rasmus Lyberth / Greta Sundström

From Greenland, singer/songwriter Rasmus Lyberth has captivated Danish and Greenlandic audiences since the 1970s and is increasingly popular with international audiences. Whether performing at Royal Albert Hall or in smaller venues across Denmark, Rasmus has a unique ability to transcend language barriers and convey the drama and beauty of Greenlandic culture. He is the recipient of the Danish PH Prize, the Danish Jazz, Beat and Folk Prize, and the prestigious Nordic Council’s Medal of Honor, among others. He was knighted by HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and has been asked to perform on several official royal visits abroad. Over the years he has had performances in Mexico, Bolivia, Canada, Iceland, throughout Europe, and at the Sundance Film Festival.
