Matthew Worth

In 2013-2014, baritone Matthew Worth returns to Pittsburgh Opera in the title role of Glass's Orphée, sings Silvio in a semi-staged presentation of I Pagliacci with Connecticut Concert Opera, and in recital with pianist Tyson Deaton in Washington, D.C. and Cincinnati. Recently, he sang Father Flynn in the operatic adaptation of John Patrick Shanley's Doubt with Minnesota Opera (world premiere); Tomes in Smetana's The Kiss with Opera Theatre of St. Louis; Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia with New Orleans Opera; Guglielmo in Così fan tutte with Boston Lyric Opera; Billy in Carousel with Virginia Opera; and Tarquinius in The Rape of Lucretia with Opera Memphis.
