Nicola Ulivieri graduated at Bolzano Conservatory and he soon won "Lirico sperimentale Adriano Belli" and "Musica Riva" prizes and the TV singing competition "Vincerò". In 2006 he was awarded the prestigious "Premio Abbiati" from Italian critics recognizing his Mozart performances.
Ha has performed in all the most important Italian and international venues collaborating with prestigious conductors, such as Claudio Abbado, Roberto Abbado, Mehta, Gatti, Harding, Luisi, Oren, Noseda, Mariotti, Benini, Pidò, Chung, Conlon.
He sings mainly Mozart (Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte, Die Zauberflöte), Rossini (L'italiana in Algeri, Il turco in Italia, Il barbiere di Siviglia, La Cenerentola, La gazza ladra, Il viaggio a Reims, Le comte Ory), Bellini, (I puritani, La sonnambula), Donizetti (Lucia di Lammermoor, L'elisir d'amore).
Among his recent and future engagements: Così fan tutte in Bologna, La sonnambula in Barcelona, Il viaggio a Reims in Amsterdam, and I puritani in Turin.
