Advent Capelle Choir

The musical ministry of Advent Capelle, meaning “a small church waiting for The Second Coming of the Lord,” began in 1987 under the direction of Leonabelle Elumir-Berdida. With the combination of exceptional talent and a love for music, the original 18 members spread the Lord’s message through the joy of song. However in 1989, several members moved to the United States, and the ministry of Advent Capelle was temporarily paused. After eight years, some of the former members were once again called to share the Lord’s promise through musical ministry. Expanding the group in 1997 brought together 24 students and professionals under the banner of Advent Capelle.
