Akatanwia

Akatanwia: Traditional Drums of Ghana focuses on culturally contextualized presentation of and instruction in West African drumming and dance. Akatanwia presents solo and group performances, educational workshops, lectures, professional instruction and children's programs in schools. Akatanwia is directed by Laryea Addy,a traditional drummer and dancer from Ghana, West Africa and Jerusha Rhodes,an American anthropologist.
