David Alberding

With over 20 years of experience entertaining audiences, singer/songwriter David Alberding has honed his craft performing at festivals and venues up and down the Eastern and Southern coasts. His music has traces and influence from such masters as B.B. King, James Taylor, and Joe Cocker and his storytelling abilities give the nod to the poetic imagery of such artists as Harry Chapin and Van Morrison. Alberding’s awards include: Individual Artist Award in Music Composition from the Maryland State Arts Council, the Unisong International Song Contest (finalist), WAMMIE Award Nominee for the Contemporary Folk Album “Way Back,” The John Lennon Songwriting Contest (runner-up), and the 9th Annual Billboard Song Contest (honorable mentions).
