All Camera Ensemble

MaryAnn Perkel is the Assistant Principal Cellist of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Annapolis Symphony. She performs frequently with leading orchestras, chamber ensembles, and string quartets throughout Washington, DC. Most recently, she was one of the featured artists performing the Brahms Piano Quartet in c minor at Salisbury University in Maryland. Mrs. Perkel received her formal training in North Carolina and has served as Artist-in-Residence for the last two summers at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in Tennessee. David Perkel was appointed Second Trombone of the Richmond Symphony in June 2000 and has been Principal Trombone of the Annapolis Symphony since 1998. He has taught at arts programs including Towson University and five summers as Artist in Residence at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in Tennessee. He also performs with the National Symphony Orchestra and the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra and performed in the jazz idiom, he performed, recorded and toured with both the Dallas Jazz Orchestra and the One O’clock lab Band from the University of North Texas where he received his bachelors degree. Mr. Perkel earned his masters degree from the Manhattan School of Music and in the fall will be working on a doctorate at the University of Maryland. Deborah Craven holds degrees in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music and Michigan State University. Recent solo engagements include the McGraw Series at Illinois College, performances in Paris during the French Piano Institute, an appearance with the Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra, a recital broadcast on the WBFO Classical Hour in Buffalo, New York and numerous recitals throughout the country. Deborah Craven is currently a Doctoral candidate studying with Bradford Gowen at the University of Maryland. Amanda Paine Jury was born in Belmont, Massachusetts where she began studying oboe at age nine. Mrs. Jury received her Bachelor of Music degree from Boston University as a Dean Scholar and completed her Master of Music degree in Oboe Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. She has attended the fellowship programs of Tanglewood Music Center, National Repertory Orchestra, National Orchestral Institute, and Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and has performed with orchestras across the United States including the Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, the National Symphony, the Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra, and the New World Symphony. Mrs. Jury is currently a member of The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” at Ft. Myer, Virginia. Scott Sabo has recently been appointed the Third Trumpet position with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. He also performs with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and The Harrisburg Opera Association. Mr. Sabo attended the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Upon graduation, Mr. Sabo won a position with The United States Army Band, “Pershing’s Own.” He and his wife reside in northern Virginia.
