Jason Rylander

Jason Rylander has been praised by the Washington Post for his "strong, clear tenor" and performances that "coupled sonorous warmth and emotional depth." Recent solo highlights include Handel’s Esther and Bach’s cantatas 5 and 182 at the American Bach Soloists Academy/Festival, Monteverdi's Vespers of 1640 with TENET/Green Mountain Project, theRequiems of Mozart and Salieri with Bach Sinfonia, and Bach’s B-Minor Mass with the Washington Bach Consort. His 2013/14 season includes Pergolesi’s Magnificat and Cantata 36 with the Washington Bach Consort, the Bach Magnificatwith The Advent Project and further exploration of 17th Century chamber music.
